The Blazers came from a 20 point deficit in the first half to take the lead in the 3rd and 4th periods. With 2 minutes left in the game, the Bisons made a run the Blazers could not stop to win the game 106-93. The Bisons advanced to the final 8, to be held this week in various parts of the US. Love pulled down 9 rebounds against the Bisons, one short of his season average of 10 rebounds per game.

"Corey Love set a West Virginia Blazers team record with 52 points and added 18 rebounds as the Blazers defeated the Indiana Steamrollers 122-95 at the end of a Sunday evening ABA doubleheader at the Fayetteville Memorial Building.
Joey Preast had 20 points and nine rebounds and Jordan Carter notched a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards for the Blazers (8-9).
Leading scorers for Indiana were Aaron Hogg and Joe Rainey with 31 and 28 points respectively. Zach Logan had 12 points and 10 rebounds."
"Over 400 fans were in Fayetteville, WV to watch the game and enjoy visiting with Ronald McDonald. The games were sponsored by McDonalds.
United Way of Southern WV, represented by Executive Director Margaret O'Neal, was also present to speak on behalf of United Way since it was "United Way Day" with the Blazers.
